Over nine years of Academics & Research experience at various B-Schools in India. Area of interests includes Accountancy, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, General Management and Entrepreneurship. Have published research papers, book reviews in various National and International journals. Completed a Project assigned on Investors Education by “Investors Education Protection Fund”, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Rumki is associated with customizing books with Pearson Education subjects like Cost and Management Accounting, Operations Research and Business Statistics. To her credit a chapter ‘Banking in India’, Contemporary Trends in Business Research, (2006) have been published by Allied Publishers, Coimbatore. She also has leaded the role as a Discussant for a Technical Session in U.G.C sponsored National Seminar, Kaveli, March 27-28, 2005. She has completed her masters with specialization in Accounting and Financial Management from Andhra University. Presently she is pursuing Ph.D, the thesis is entitled “Post Merger Performance in the Banking Industry” under the eminent guidance of Dr. S.K Tripathi, Head of the Department, Purvanchal University. RDC has been completed and also in the process of completion of her Ph.D. She has also completed Certificate of Teaching in Higher Education from Oxford Brookes University
As a module leader, I deliver my lectures on time as per the schedule prescribed by Oxford Brookes University.
The documents such as question papers, model answers, assessments, student grid, module handbook which is an important task for me as a module leader, furnish with full details and forward the same to the departments concerned within time.
Updating of course material is also a part of for me as a module leader.
Mentoring students with respect to subject wise especially for the week students and at times personal if needed if only effecting class participation
Conducting various management games/workshops so as to upgrade the student’s managerial skills, role plays of certain corporate houses which create boosting interest amongst the student peer group.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Co-coordination with the day to day administrative and academic schedules.
Counseling the students for placements, Mentorship Programs.
Organized HR Meet.
Organized Industrial Visit.
Organized Student Extra-curricular activities: Management Meet, Annual Fest, Business Plan Competition.
